Free Parenting Clinic – Screens, Scrolling and Staying Sane
19th January 2026
On 19th January, I kicked off 2026 with a free Parenting Clinic focused on one of the biggest challenges modern families face: screens.
Parents joined the session feeling concerned, conflicted, and often stuck between wanting to protect their children and needing screens to function in everyday family life. We explored why screen struggles are rarely just about devices, and more about connection, boundaries, and nervous system regulation.
The conversation was honest, balanced, and judgment-free. This wasn’t about banning screens or chasing unrealistic ideals, but about helping families find approaches that actually work.
Key takeaways from the session included:
• Why screens are so compelling for developing brains
• The importance of modelling healthy screen habits as adults
• Setting clear, calm boundaries without constant conflict
• Using connection as a bridge before switching screens off
Parents left feeling more confident, less guilty, and better equipped to make intentional choices around screens that suit their family, not someone else’s rulebook.
