Parenting doesn't stop when the working day starts
The juggle between work and family life is real. A difficult morning doesn't disappear when someone opens their laptop, and worries about a child's behaviour, friendships, school, neurodivergence or wellbeing don't stay neatly at home.
I work with organisations to provide warm, practical and genuinely useful support for the parents and carers in their workforce.
Drawing on more than 25 years of experience in education, coaching and working with families, I make complicated parenting conversations feel understandable, relevant and manageable
Experience, without the lecture
I've spent more than 25 years working with children and families, including 15 years in senior school leadership before moving into coaching.
I'm a parent myself, so I understand that knowing the theory and living it at 7.45 on a Tuesday morning are two very different things.
My work brings together my background in education, parenting and neurodivergence coaching, alongside years of conversations with families about what life actually looks like behind closed doors.
I don't tell people how to be better parents.
I help them get curious about what is happening, understand their children and leave with ideas they can actually use.
Organisations I've worked with
Let's start a conversation
Whether you already know exactly what you'd like me to speak about or you're simply exploring how you could better support the parents and carers in your organisation, I'd be very happy to talk.
Tell me a little about your organisation, your audience and what you have in mind, and we can take it from there.
Parenting support that people actually want to attend
I don't believe workplace parenting support should feel like another webinar people ought to attend.
My work is conversational, practical and grounded in real family life. I talk about the things parents and carers are actually dealing with, while creating space for questions, different family experiences and the reality that there is rarely one right answer.
Support can be a one-off conversation, part of an ongoing programme or something developed specifically around the needs of your organisation and its people.
Live talks and webinars
Engaging sessions built around a particular parenting or family-life topic, with practical takeaways and time for questions.
Parent and carer Q&As
A more conversational format where people can bring the questions that are relevant to them.
Coaching
One-to-one or small-group coaching for parents and carers who would benefit from more individualised support. This gives people the space to explore what is happening in their own family, understand the patterns and work out what could make a difference.
Bespoke sessions and programmes
A single session might be exactly what your organisation needs, or we can create a series of conversations across the year. I can develop support around the themes your people are raising, particular points in the year or the needs of a specific parent and carer network.
Consultancy
I can also work behind the scenes with organisations that want to think more deeply about how they support parents, carers and families. This might involve bringing a parenting, education or neurodivergence perspective to a project, helping shape resources or initiatives, or acting as a sounding board as an idea develops.
Articles and resources
Practical written content that can support your people and continue the conversation beyond the session.
